Like A Bird

Like our beautiful backyard birds (in this case the cardinal), we will be flitting from house to house and feeder to feeder in the days ahead.  I'm not sure if I will be posting.

I hope you all continue to enjoy your holidays and are able to spend time with family and friends. I am looking forward to a wonderfully creative new year. I wish you all the same. I can't wait to get back to my paintbox. :)

A Rainbow of Best Wishes

Here is an absolutely beautiful rainbow sent all the way from Paris to my Mom from my sweet friend Lucile.

Here is a stunning double rainbow sent to my Mom by my fellow artist Julie who lives in England.  This particular photo was taken in Burnsall in the Yorkshire Dales. Julie lives in Wakefield which is not very far from where my Mom's great-great-grandfather lived (in Howden). I think that's kind of cool!
