Despite the chill in the air this morning, there is still lots of prettiness in the garden! Best wishes for a wonderful month! ❤

I initially posted this with just the top photo but it seemed too bare. (I'm not a minimalist.) I've added a few more photos from my garden tour this morning. Now, that feels better. :)
Love those bright pink berries at the top, what are they?? The nasturtiums are gorgeous colours too, we have had THE mildest Setember ever and it continues, it's great :) I have planted a dozen pots up with spring bulbs and pansies etc, I have lots to look forward to in the spring, Yey!
Hi Julie! The top photo is a little spindlewood tree (Euonymus europaeus). I also have it in shrub form. Isn't it beautiful? I was just reading that its name comes from the fact that the wood is very hard so was used to make wool spindles. The fruit is beautiful but poisonous. Good idea to plant pots with bulbs! I put lots of new bulbs in the flower beds last year and didn't get around to preparing any pots. I must do that this year. It is always so nice to look forward to them.
Happy October Kathleen! Your photos are such a delight!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Annamaria. Love that we can still keep in touch despite the increased distance (not that we lived that close together before)!
DeleteHappy October too, Kathleen ! Big hugs oxox
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sonia. Hope you have a good one. xo
